| Below see photos of my first Lionhead Does. It is amazing how different they look today, just seven years ago! Very few had decent manes. I am still lookung for a photo of the first Chestnut Doe I bought. I paid $200 for her & she wasn't very pretty but was the beginning of my Chestnuts.. I managed to wipe out the Fawn gene, or at least I haven't seen it appear in any litters in a few years . My main colors are Sable Point, Tortoise, Chestnut, Smoke Pearl, Blue, Siamese Sable & REW. Now I am working on Red Lionheads (thus Fawns will appear again!) .Although iy is not a COD color I think they are truly beautiful so perhaps in a years time you will start seeing this amazing color on my web site! I would like to thank all the breeders who gave me my start years ago! |
